Dino-Lite Pro II AD413ZTA 10x ~ 220x Polarizing Scroll Lock Overview
The Dino-Lite Pro II AD413ZTA boasts the same features as the Dino-Lite 413T but also includes BOTH an 'on/off' Polarizing Element and interchangeable nozzle feature, along with a magnification scroll lock.
Polarized light microscopy is useful to reduce the effects of glare, particularly from highly reflective surfaces. With uniform illumination and a versatile base unit, you can view more surface detail making the AD413ZTA ideal for industrial and manufacturing , as well as medical diagnostic applications and rock and mineral identification. The polarization level can be changed from full to half, and if no polarization is necessary, simply switch off the feature altogether.
The AD413ZTA comes with 3 interchangeable nozzles: a polarized nozzle, a standard open faced nozzle, as well as a sealed transparent cap nozzle designed to protect the lens and built in LED lights from dust, debris and moisture.
With the nozzle removed, the AD413ZTA series will zoom from 10X to 220X, offering sharp images at any magnification level in between, for maximum versatility. Simply dial in your desired magnification, then adjust your vertical height until the image comes into clear focus. This technique works best when the microscope is used with a rigid Dino-Lite stand, such as the MS34B-R2, MS35B, or MS36B.
